Business and Training Manager

Jennifer Hayes B.A. (Hons) is a graduate of Waterford Institute of Technology with a Level 8 Honours Degree in Applied Social Studies in Social Care. Jennifer also received a National Certificate in Business Studies from Carlow Institute of Technology. Jennifer's social care background is in residential care.  Jennifer began delivering training for Social Care Training Ireland in 2011 when she completed her train the trainer qualification. Jennifer is a certified trainer in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention in an associate capacity and First Aid Response.  Jennifer has also been involved in the development and delivery of many of our individually tailored courses. Jennifer was appointed as Business and Training Manager in April 2015, where she oversees the day to day running of the company in addition to long-term strategy development.


Trainer
Carol Mythen B.A. (Hons) is a graduate of Waterford Institute of Technology with a Degree in Applied Social Studies in Social Care. Carol's background is in Social Care with over 20 years’ experience working in the areas of Child Protection and Intellectual Disability. Carol worked as a Service Manager for many years and was involved in the setting up of special care units and overseeing several outreach and homecare projects.  Carol brings to the training room her enthusiasm and passion for the high standard of care that the vulnerable people in our society should receive.  Carol also holds a Certificate in Counselling skills from the University of Ulster. Carol is a qualified Instructor in Manual handling, Fire Safety, First Aid Response, CFR, TCI and MAPA.


Trainer
Deirdre O’Connor B.A. (Hons) graduated from University College Cork with a degree in Youth & Community Work. She has also completed the Train the Trainer qualification and has been involved in adult education for several years, designing and delivering a variety of courses.
Deirdre has over twenty years’ experience working in the areas of special needs education, intellectual disability services, youth work and mainstream residential services. She has completed further studies in Managing Challenging Behaviour, Supervision Theory & Practice and Team Leadership & Management.

Training Co Ordinator
Caoimhe Brennan (Dip.) has worked in our finance department for a number of years and is experienced in all aspects of administration, managing creditor accounts, payroll and credit control.  Caoimhe has full responsibility for the co ordination of our training schedule and managing all logistics association with this.

Trainer
Pauline Keane B.A. (Hons) is a graduation of Carlow Institute of Technology.  Pauline has recently completed the TCI Train the Trainer programme, and in addition to this Pauline is qualified in many holistic trainings.
