Welcome to the first edition of Social Care Training Ireland’s newsletter.

It is our aim to publish regular newsletters to keep you informed of developments within the social care sector, new and updated training courses, special offers and competitions.  We would also like to encourage your input in relation to what we can do for you.  Any feedback in relation to courses you have attended, queries in relation to courses on offer, or tailoring a training package for you or your organisation are very welcome.  Please forward them directly to jennifer@socialcaretraining.ie.

As the Social Care industry grows, the demand for competent, highly trained social care workers is of great importance to employers.  With this in mind, may I draw your attention to the SCTI training schedule which you will find in this newsletter, as well as a special offer for students.  Two years ago, we had 29 certified courses. We now have 40 courses on offer, and we are constantly developing new courses to meet the challenges faced by social care practitioners. 

In this newsletter you can also get to know a bit more about our professional trainers and read some very interesting articles related to the social care field.  I hope you enjoy this first edition and look forward to our next publication in the near future.
